Welcome!
When my young son, John, looked at the studio image on top of this blog, he said, “Mom, your art room NEVER looks that clean.”
True! It’s usually a mess! Piles of paper cover the floor: inspiration gone wild. Scores of little index cards or sticky notes with bits and pieces of stories or “brilliant” ideas are scattered everywhere. Photos, waiting to emerge on canvas, cover my art table. And stacks of paintings in various stages overflow and sometimes even fall off the easel.
Sometimes when I paint, I lay the fresh canvas on top of all the piles and start painting. If I stopped to clean it up, the flash of inspiration might disappear.
So don’t be tempted to imagine for one moment that this is really what my garden studio looks like. I told John, “I cleaned up the studio, so it would look beautiful for the photo.” But maybe someday I will add a new image of what it really looks like.
It’s my hope that this blog will inspire you to create, express, heal, and love.
Much love, Pamela
P.S. I would love to hear back from you.

Pamela,
I loved getting this tonight….I also enjoy reading your words (they are JUST like you talk), your thoughts and about your love for our Lord! Thank you so much for your presence in my life, the encouragement that you always bring my way, your listening ear and allowing my family to “do life” with you and your boys. It’s such a joy for me and mine. Love, Sue
I know what’s behind the paintings and in front and beside…but mostly I know what’s in your heart which is much more poetic and inspirational than any clean room could ever be.. xxoxo PS-John’s honesty made me chuckle.
Pamela,
I thank God for you and for how He has blessed you with the gift of creating such meaningful beauty on canvas. What a legacy you are leaving during your sojourn here on earth…
I love you friend,
His indentured servant,

Loved the portrait of your studio! I would say it’s a reflection of your heart - beautiful, serene, and colorful.
Isn’t it amazing how God can take our “messes” and makes something spectacular out of them for His glory? He is so Awesome!
Blessings and Love in Christ,
Nana
Pamela, I just love your latest entry. It was enlightening as I had no idea why my aunt and uncle divorced. So, I appreciate that. I will need to share this with Luke also as his very foundation crumbled when his parents split up when he was 15. He too really didn’t have anywhere to go. He is still affected to this day. I greatly appreciate this email. Love, Kelly
