Hi Pamela,
I was looking at the pictures of those who at one time or another had indicated that they were “following” my blog. I came across your picture.
It must have been some time ago, for it now escapes my memory when the last time I visited your blog was!
And now, as it is middle of the night here where I come from, I am amazed at this latest painting of yours. It’s beautiful!
But more than that, it serves as still another confirmation of the message that God has been speaking to my heart over the past days. Starting from Jackie of Fresh Oil TOday, to Rosel of Off the Beaten Trek, to Cindy of Letters from Midlife, to Andrea’s Arise to Write…and a few other blogs, my heavenly Father has been talking to me about being still and trusting Him in the midst of life’s storms.
It simply amazes me, the personal and unique way that God speaks. And now this painting that you posted on your most recent blog entry, “Stillness”!
I can tell this painting is lovely, although I have not seen the details at close range.
Thank you for being a vessel through which the Father speaks, and for your anointed art that reflects the Father’s heart. Writers and painters have one thing in common, one paints with words on paper, the other paints with brush strokes on canvas. I appreciate the close connection that we both have to our Creator…the wellspring of all creativity.
Oh, and I must not forget to tell you that the birthday poem that Patty Ann wrote for you is truly beautiful!
Blessings,
Lidj
