Courage Ablaze Ignited

Les Clay Singers singing at Courage Ablaze during ArtPrize 2012

The Les Clay Singers inspired and delighted visitors with two performances during ArtPrize 2012. The singing children radiated joy. Visitors erupted into applause as the energetic family filled the gallery with African melodies that fed our souls.

As the children sang, their mama and papa couldn’t remain seated; they stood and sang too. This remarkable family often sings around the dinner table. Papa’s baritone voice, perhaps the deepest I had ever heard, lifted the hearts of the listeners. His singing ignited courage and hope burst into flame.
